My beloved wife gave me a hardbound edition of the Daily Roman Missal for Christmas this week.

It is a quantum leap from the 3-volume set I had been using. The prayers and devotions section alone is worth the investment. Now I find myself browsing the Web looking for a suitable cover. If you have the DRM, what are you using to protect this awesome text?

Your help and emails appreciated.

Peace and Happy New Year. 🙂

Nothing at all. I have had it for a couple of years and it has held up incredibly well.

Not with plastic or polythene - let the cover breathe. Instead, I use a sturdy of piece of paper, folded over.

I hope you find what you need. ##

Mine is holding up fine without a cover. I’ve had it for several years. . It is amazing how many interesting thingsyou can find while browsing through it. . 👍

I am using a leatherette Missal cover that I purchased at a Catholic Bookstore.

The Missal slips inside it, and it zips up (taking care to tuck in the ends of the ribbon markers!).

I have had it for about four years now, and it is fine.

My beautiful Daily Roman Missal is covered in bonded leather. I would’t think of covering it…I love the way leather ages and feels. My old DRM, (an earlier edition) looks well worn, and that is the way I like my books to look…Used!

BTW…I’m a sucker for just about any leather “churchy” book. In fact, I am just about to order a 1962 Missal, just to have it. I love to look for old Bibles and Missals at flea markets, too.
