What should you do if you accidentally damage another’s property like bending a paper in school or putting a scratch on the textbook. Is it a sin if you do it and you don’t tell the teacher or person? When would damaging another’s property be a mortal sin?
Thank you

Accidentaly damaging someone’s property is not a sin, but purposly not telling them about it is a sin. I would tell them what you did. I know from firsthand experience that your conscience will eat you alive if you don’t

God Bless:thumbsup:
