How large a part of all mankind will ultimately be saved?

I’ve been thinking of this for quite some time. Jesus seems to imply not a very large part, but some modern theologians seem to think so.

Well what do you think?
 
How many will be damned? I actually know the answer to this one:

Less than 100%.👍
 
we do not know the number. God knows, and it really isn’t up to us to speculate who will be damned or not.
 
Rather than speculate on numbers, we’d be better served IMO by trying to save as many souls as possible, starting with our own, through prayer, penance and good works.

I would trust Jesus’ word over that of “some modern theologians.”

Matthew chapter 13 says that wide is the road to hell and many find it, while narrow is the path to heaven, and few find it. I wanna make sure I’m one of the few! Lord have mercy on me!
