Alright, last one for today, I think!

I really want to go to my school dance (two hours away), but it’s looking like it’s not going to happen. I’ve waited for this for three years, and this year my parents said it might work out. Key word “might”, I suppose. I feel bad that I’m so angry and disappointed - it’s a dance, for Pete’s sake! There are many, many reasons why I shouldn’t be so bitter or selfish, but I can’t get rid of the feeling. Please pray for me to cope with this better; I feel ridiculous!
 
It’s not ridiculous. Praying that you enjoy your youth, and find many happy hours with good and faithful friends.

(I thought you were much older, LOL)

I remember I didn’t go to my prom or senior ball. I remember being really sad over it, since (as Edward said on “Twilight”) it’s a rite of passage.

I also was sad at dances if I was never asked to dance.

I wish there were some way for you to go even if it is 2 hours away.

In any case, I’ll pray for the “might” to turn to “will”.
 
I don’t think you are ridiculous. For various reasons, I never went to the prom. I remember being sad about it, especially on that night.

Haha, thanks! I fool a lot of people that way, heheh. Thank you for your prayers! I’m praying for your pneumonia (if you still have it; I sure hope not) and that you heal quickly!

Thank you all so much for your prayers! As it turns out, God had His own plan the whole time; My parents talked it out, and I’m going!!!
