I just played Dante’s Inferno, the video game, and was wondering about a few things that were mentioned. You won’t know what I’m talking about until you actually play it or the demo. I was wondering if anyone thinks it is anti-catholic or just presents certain Catholic teachings wrongly? What struck me when I played it was the in the story, a bishop (who is presented as evil) tells the crusaders that their sins will be forgiven if they go on the Crusade. Is this what happened in history? Later on, death tries to take Dante to hell and Dante is confused because of what the Bishop said.
Secondly, some enemies are unbaptised babies. Even i know this is pretty wrong (or am I wrong?)
Thanks
