I think that kid was carrying a sign that said “Pope in Hell”.

Unless of course, it merely said “Pope in Rome”, I’m not sure.

Good for you! The best part of my conversation, and this was what REALLY convinced me that this guy was full of BS was when he said, in response to my statement about Peter the Rock, “I think that’s referring to Peter’s confessional.” I think he was talking about Peter’s epistle because he was referring to that while saying this, but I have no idea what connection you could make between a ‘confessional’ and Jesus calling him the Rock. I couldn’t believe he said that. Christ called Simon the Rock in the GOSPEL and Peter’s epistle was written years after Christ had ascended into Heaven!!!

Possibly what he meant by “Peter’s confessional”, was that Peter said “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” Given that when he said this, Our Lard responded by giving him the name Peter. “the Rock”, your street preacher may have meant this.

Why do they have signs saying “god hates america”?

After all these years George bush has been saying “God bless America”

You’ve gotta admit America is rather blessed, The country is rather Prosperious.

Do you know any of this happening in other countries.
I never saw a sign saying “God hates Australia” or"God hates Italy"
So whats up with the Americans?

I never really heard John Howard say “God bless Australia” (then again when politics show up on the news I tune out and walk off) Politics can be rather boring sometimes…

With street preachers there is a Jehovah’s witness living accross the road from the Catholic school I go to… She’d stand around in the street screaming at us about Jehovah and how we’re all gonna die because we are catholics…
She also Threatens students with a Knife alot and tells them to save themselves…
The sad thing though is the students arn’t very nice to the lady, but hey they are high school students and the way the lady treats us and all…
I tried being nice to her but it didn’t work…

The jw approached me once, she was going on about goats and sheep and how there is worshipping Jesus the right way and worshipping Jesus the wrong way…
She left me alone when she figured that she isn’t succeeding on converting me. As if I want to because a Jehovah’s witness!
