So I was having a discussion with a relative on when Easter fell this year. I asked said relative how it is determined. The relative brought up that it is determined after the first full moon after the equinox. The reason why was super confusing. The relative said that this was because of the “darkness that covered the sky because of an eclipse that happened which was proven by science.” Now I looked up some information and that is totally false. One is the holiday is based more on Passover. Two is the eclipse thing never happened. Three is even if it did it would not cover the whole earth in darkness for three hours. Thoughts?
