Prayer Warriors!

Please pray for my daughter Maddie who we just discovered has been cutting herself with a needle.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Praying to St. Dymphna for Maddie’s health & recovery. Please seek help for her.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna
as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional,
and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and
a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful
martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials ––
especially Maddie, for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna
on her behalf. Grant Maddie patience in her sufferings and
resignation to your divine will. Please fill them with hope,
and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who suffered
agony in the garden. Amen.

Praying for your daughter that she may receive help with her cutting issue and that you and your family will see her recover from this issue as soon as possible.

God Bless,

Mary.

Please get her to a psychologist or psychiatrist. Praying for her.

Praying for Maddie that she gets help that she needs and prayers for your family.

Hi Scott,

I’m sorry to hear that this is happening with Maddie.

Prayers said that she may be healed of this affliction.

May God and His Holy Angels and Saints comfort Maddie in her time of need.

May God bless you and your family.

Will pray for her. I used to struggle with self-harm; there is hope. People who self-harm, at least from my experience, need somebody to believe in them. I’m sure you do for your daughter.

My heart goes out to you. It’s the most scary and helpless feeling as a parent when you discover your child is doing this. Our daughter engaged in cutting (self-harm) as well; a couple of years ago.

Her recovery was a lengthy one, with many of peaks and valleys. (I don’t say this to discourage you 🙂 )
When I would get to the point that I was ready to lose all hope and was exhausted from running to the psychiatrist and the therapist, I would hear the stories of parents on the radio who lost their child to suicide and at a Woman’s Retreat, I sat at a table with a mother who had lost her 15 yr old son. I knew that they would have given ANYTHING to trade places with me if they could. I could only imagine their sorrow and devastation. Afterward, I felt so humbled and literally thanked God for sparing my daughter and allowing me to be by her side. (As I know you will be with Maddie) As crazy as it sounds, I rejoiced! Even during this trial, I felt like I was given a gift from God, complete with renewed strength and hope!

Praying that Our Lord will watch over Maddie and guide her to the proper care. May He grant her a complete recovery. That Maddie may know that she is truly valued and loved by Him and by her family and friends and that she will value herself. May He grant you and your family: Patience, Strength, Peace of Mind, and Hope.
Amen

Our Father,

Give us this day our daily bread;

and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Praying for you.

Talk to your child’s school counselors, they may be able to help.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

6 years since I did it last, thank you Jesus.

My therapist said it came from intense frustration at life around me.

PLEASE take her to therapy as soon as possible. I wish I had sought help when I first did this.

There are free mental therapy clinics in many places if you need those as well.

Praying!

Praying for Maddie. Praying for her to feel your love and God’s love!

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Scott D’s daughter), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Scott D’s daughter). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Scott D’s daughter’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
