Hi Friends,

Asking for prayers for our daughter, especially on Monday. She has a very difficult Chemistry exam and she is struggling in the class and needs to improve her grade.

Thanks!

Prayer for Test-Takers

Almighty God and Father,
please help us in our examinations.
Help us to face them with courage,
steady in nerves and keen in mind.
Help us to understand the questions that are asked,
to remember all that we have studied,
and to express our answers accurately.
We make this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A Student’s Prayer to St. Anthony

O blessed Saint Anthony, may stjoe4u2’s daughter place her studies under your powerful protection. Through your intercession, may the Holy Spirit fill her with light, strength, intelligence, and humility. I implore the creator of all things to grant her the ability to grasp things correctly, and the talent to be exact in her answers. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying that the Lord may bless your daughter and enable her to prepare well and do her best in the exam.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Praying for your daughter.

Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to her assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Under thy patronage, dear Mother, and calling on the mystery of thine Immaculate Conception, I desire to pursue my studies and my literary labors: I hereby solemnly declare that I am giving myself to these studies chiefly to the following end:
that I may the better contribute to the glory of God and to the promotion of thy veneration among men. I pray thee, therefore, most loving Mother,
who art the Seat of Wisdom, to bless my labors in thy loving-kindness.
Moreover I promise with true affection and a willing spirit,
as it is right that I should do, to ascribe all the good that shall come to me therefrom,
wholly to thine intercession for me in God’s holy presence.
Amen.

**Daughter of Israel,
Glory of all people.
Immaculate Maiden,
Joy of God.
Jesus has given you for our Mother.
You are our Queen,
pure and sinless.
We entrust ourselves to you.
Immaculate Mary.
Faithful one.

Amen.**

Hi Friends,

Thank you for keeping our daughter in your prayers today. Her exam is at 5:30 PM Eastern time today. She can really use your prayerful help on today’s exam. Her grade is pretty shaky and the class is considered the most difficult chemistry class that the university teaches. She has been putting in a fabulous effort; just need to be able to translate that to a great exam grade.

Thank you again for your last minute prayers!
