I posted awhile back about our 17 year old daughter’s anxiety/OCD problem. It is getting worse all the time and it
is having a big effect on all of us. It is really taking over her life
in many ways and we are desperate to help her. She had started
going to talk to the doctor and he said she did really well but
then she started refusing to go saying she didn’t need to. Along
with this she is taking medication for her stomach (acid blocker)
and she had also lost some weight since she would feel full
quicker with the stomach problem. The doctor just changed her
stomach med since now sometimes she still has some symptoms. The orignal med was taken twice a day which made
another problem in always remembering to take it and along
with that she obessed about the timing of taking the medication
because part of her OCD problem is fear of getting sick or posioned. She doesn’t like to take medicine at all , she is
terrified of the side effects. We really just wanted her to deal
with the problem through the pycologist, and didn’t really want
her on meds but now the problem is so big we fear that she will
need that too, but then again she is really afraid of taking that
type of medication. We are at our wits end with this problem
and beg you to pray for Lauren. Thank you for all your prayers in
the past, please continue them. There is so much more to this
than I can even post here. Please pray for her and us. I have
an anxiety problems myself ( I have been on meds from time to
time) but I have been good for some time now and of course dealing with this is extremely hard for me. My husband and
son are really affected too.

Thank you so much, it does give me some comfort that I can
come here and ask for your prayers.

Good Morning Donna,
I am leaving for work soon and will include you in my morning rosary.

I am praying for your daughter Lauren right now. As a life long sufferer of anxiety, I know how hard it is to cope with. May the Lord free her of her anxiety and OCD, and may he comfort your whole family as you go through this with her…Amen.

:gopray: Lord be with this young lady, Lauren. As those of us who suffer from anxiety and depression know the grip it has on all ours life. Father break the hold that this anxiety holds on her. Allow her to realize and allow her to feel You in a special way. Allow her to know that even when it feels that You are not taking us away from serious anxieties, that in fact You yourself are with us through the period of turmoil. Grant her a peace about taking medication. Place knowledge in her mind and in her heart that would allow her to accept the necessity of the medication. Continue to strengthen her as she goes through these trying times.

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary, mother of God pray for us sinners
now and at the time of our death.

Praying for Lauren.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

As a sufferer of mental illness myself which has arrived at a completely stable point, I know that the proper taking of medication and staying in touch with one’s psychiatrist or psychologist is of great importance in arriving at stability. I will be keeping Lauren in prayer…praying too for you and the rest of the family. Caring for a person who is not mentally stable is very difficult…

Thank you so much to everyone praying for Lauren. We have
an appointment today, she has agreed to go but this has happened before and then she gets very upset and won’t go
in the end. The stress around here is very high but we all
love her and are determined to free her of this, it is very hard
because new things will come up that upset her, we never
know what will happen each day. I am off to pray the rosary now
before I get ready for work. God bless you all.

My heart goes out to you and your daughter…
I suffer from anxiety/OCD, too, and I know how horrible it can be.
I am praying for you both ❤️

God have mercy!

I just got a call from the doctor - he is sick so we have to wait
until next week to see him! I can’t believe it after we convinced
her (at least we think so) to start going again!😦

I am praying for you and your daughter. I fully understand how it impacts the whole family.
