Daughter's Godfather Died

May I please ask all of you Prayer Warriors to pray for my daughter’s Godparents?

Her Godfather died yesterday, leaving her Godmother widowed after more than 50 years of marriage. Due to infertility, they have no children, so her Godmother is without the support of family at this time. Her Godparents are very faithful Catholics, like family to us, and we are deeply saddened to have lost one of them. His death was sudden.

We are trying to make it into town as soon as we can for a visit, but my daughter (20 months old) is not feeling well, so traveling must be postponed until at least tomorrow.

God bless all of you, and thank you for praying for the soul of R.C.

Thank you Father for the wonderful years you blessed this couple with. We pray for the soul of RC and ask that you grant him mercy. We pray for his wife of 50 years. May she find peace during her time without him. In Jesus name I pray… AMEN

May RC’s soul and all souls of God’s Great Mercy ever rest in His Peace…and may He bring comfort and consolation to all who are grieving - his wife, family and friends…
 
Dear Mother of God, please pray for this Godmother; may she find comfort in her faith, knowing death is not absence but a different presence, and neither her nor that little one have lost him, since he is in Heaven praying for them.:crossrc:
 
Thank you for your prayers. We visited Mrs. C today, and she is feeling so lost without her husband.

Much to our great relief, we learned that he was able to receive Anointing of the Sick the day before he passed. The funeral Mass will likely be held this Friday.

Again, thank you so much. This family has known my mom since she was little, and me since I was born. His death was so unexpected – It’s very hard.
