I’m so “threatened” by biblical truth that I have posted “1st Buzzards” entire critique of Catholic apologists’ so-called “techniques” (p094.ezboard.com/fcatholi…=42.topic) on my Catholic apologetics blog and have challenged Buzzard, David Gibson, and Dale McElroy to come defend their beliefs on my blog, with full free speech happily granted. My fellow apologist, John Martignoni, has issued a formal challenge for debate, starting with “faith alone.”

Becuase solid and good arguments can overthrow weaker ones, and we can learn to defend the faith better. Iron sharpens iron.

Possibly. But with a public record, readers can decide who has made their case.

Not necessarily. I’ve rarely seen Dave express anger in his responses, and when he did get out of line, he apologized.

False dichotomy. Apolegetics are a legitimate exercise recognized by the Church. One does not necessarily short-change the other.

My guess is that the challange will not be answered because the post that prompted it was a rant of sweeping generalizations about defenders of Catholicism. It is less than a debate than a calling of people to be accountable for their rantings.
