Hi,

David Beckham has a rupture of the Achilles tendon and has to go to Finland tomorrow for surgery. There is almost certainly no chance for him to play in his 4th World Cup (his dream, my dream and many other England/Beckham fan’s dream).
Obviously he is gutted about this.
I think we should all pray for him to have a speedy recovery.

Tragic beyond words, with only a few million £’ssss to get him through the recession, he’s passed his sell-by date, he’s only good for 30 minutes or so, …finito !

I hardly think sarcasm is the best expression on a compassionate forum of prayer. Yes Beckham’s injury isn’t the most tragic situation in the world but to him and his numerous fans it is a deverstating day.

Ok, calm down, where is your sense of humor, it’s just that some peoples priorities are a mountain, and to others a pea-nut, no problemo :coffeeread:
