Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are drawing close to the end of our 12 preliminary days in our preparation to consecrate ourselves totally to Jesus through Mary. God knows each of us as only He can know us and in Truth He alone can accomplish this “emptying ourselves of the spirit of the world” but He wants us to be Holy as He is Holy, and He wants us to grow as He created us to grow in His Love.
Hopefully those who read this thread will also “see” by Supernatural Faith, the Truth given to St. John in writing his Gospel and to St. Louis in writing his treatise on True Devotion. Both men were given such great Grace – each listened to the Holy Spirit and their writings continue to build up the Church in Love.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your Faithful. Kindle in us the Fire of Your Love.
Jesus we trust in You! Mary Mother of the Church, pray for us. St. Joseph, St. John, St. Louis de Montfort and all you Holy Saints and Angels, pray for us.

The words in bold indicate to me the difference between “the spirit of the world” and the “Spirit of Jesus” and help me to discern what darkness can be in my heart, when I do not go toward Jesus – sent as Light that the world might be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. (Jn 3: 16-21)
