Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we conclude this Wk 1, how grateful I am for God’s Mercy. Even in “seeing” by His Grace, my utter unworthiness, and weakness, and sins – again, only by His Grace – I can also see His Enduring Love. His Holy Spirit continues to urge me on in this journey toward the total gift of self as Jesus and Mary have shown in their lives. May we learn as Mary did from listening to Jesus and keeping His Word in our hearts. May we learn to be truly Meek and Humble of Heart.
Today, we do not end “seeking true knowledge of ourselves” because in reality we will not attain the fullness of that knowledge until we stand before God at the end of our lives, but let us, by the power of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of our Mother Mary do all we can on this day to see deeply into our hearts – whatever, by His Grace, we need to change in going forward. Let us remember to:
