Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we continue our journey we find St. Joseph’s Feast celebrated today. How silent he is in the scriptures, we have no word of his recorded! Yet, God tells us much in saying Joseph was a “just man”, and his actions recorded show us St. Joseph’s faithful love for God, for Mary and the young Jesus.
Joseph was not on earth for the Passion of Christ. In God’s Plan it was Mary and John at the foot of the Cross. Nevertheless, I do not think anyone on earth ever loved and served Jesus and Mary as lovingly and faithfully and humbly as St. Joseph. Let us ask St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, to intercede for us with Mary to help us to know Jesus better, and to love and serve Him more.
The Litanies of the Holy Spirit and of the Holy Name of Jesus, with the Ave Maris Stella need to be prayed daily.
Come Holy Spirit, teach us the complete Truth of Jesus.
Mary our Mother, pray for us.
