Ours is on Dec 25, every year. What about yours in the 1962 calendar? Is it on Saint Nicholas feast day?

Well I’m glad that THIS year, we’re celebrating it on the same day! Now all we need is the eastern Catholics and we’ll be all in sync!
I think Eparchies in North America are celebrating tomorrow. I know ours are. And I guess depends too on the population of the parish. A more Canadianized or Americanized congregation would want to celebrate with the rest of the public. But if its mostly recent immigrants, they may celebrate according to the traditional dates of their homeland.

I have to assume that this thread was started as some kind of joke, in which case I agree 100% with the following comment:
Well, the joke flew over my head. Guess that’s what I get for posting right when I wake up 😛

The Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral here has celebrations according to both the Gregorian and Julian calendars. The rest of the Ukrainian Catholic parishes are celebrating according to the Gregorian calendar though.

I don’t know why you would think the 1962 calendar would be the odd calendar - they changed the calendar in the '70s, with the Novus Ordo.

Our Eparchy is Gregorian as well. But I think St. Elias in Ontario is Juliuan
