Day of consecration- St.Louis De Montfort total consecration

Hi I am doing the preparation for St.Louis Montfort consecration to Jesus through Mary,

Do we need a priest to be present for our consecration? Or is this something done totally by ourselves?

I am quiet excited to do this, Especially after reading the True devotion to Mary.
 
You can do it by yourself. I made my consecration at the end of a silent retreat and sometimes it is done in local parishes however doing it all by yourself is as beautiful. I´ve learned that in silence and solitude one can grow closer to God and there is no better way than doing this through the 30 day preperation and consecration. You may be interested in “30 Days to morning glory” as well.
