The Catholic Book Publishing Company publishes the Liturgy Of The Hours as a 4 volume work, a one volume Christian Prayer, and a smaller Shorter Christian Prayer. Now they have come out with a slim volume titled Daytime Prayer.
This is a boon for people like me who would like to recite the Daytime prayer at work, but don’t feel like lugging the whole Divine Office around.
For $12, you get the entire Daytime Prayer, with all the required Propers and Ordinaries, the 4 week Psalmody, and the Complementary Psalmody.
My copy of the book also came with the easy to use 2008 Guide.
Another bonus is that, unlike eBreviary or Universalis on the web, the book includes the Psalm Prayers, which I have taken a fancy to.
Recommended for all DODOS (Devout Obedient Disciples of Our Savior)

I will be on retreat, and away from the internet, from late Sunday of 10 August to late Saturday of 16 August. This will be at the local Mary and Joseph Retreat Center. I regard this as an extended AA 11th step workshop.
