DC March for Life

I hope this is the right place for this. Are any other CAFers going to the March for Life in DC tomorrow? I like to see each year if any of the fine people here are also participating.

Just got back from the March for Life in Little Rock. We rented the Civic Center and had the rosary and Mass before the march started, and then marched down Capitol Street to the Capitol and congregated on the Capitol steps. The Arkansas Capitol is a pretty impressive building, with broad, wide steps, and we filled the grounds from the street to the main door.

There was a group of about 10 pro-choice protestors. They had more body piercings per square inch than anyone I’ve ever seen, along with their day-glow hair. The TV cameras got good shots of them and I think they helped us more than they realized.

I was going, but now I am stuck home horribly sick with the flu and using CAF to numb out the pain. Ack! I haven’t been this sick since childhood.

It’s maddening as I haven’t missed one yet and I don’t get a refund on the bus ticket.

And dear hubby is now a million miles away lol.

But I suspect it is all for the best. My two younger brothers are going and they chose DH as their confirmation sponsors so this is good guy time for them.

Everyone, pray for the marchers safety.

I think this was the best march that I attended since I started coming a few years ago! Maybe the good weather lifted everyone’s spirits?
