Deacon Stan Cholewinski is the husband of Pani Rose, who posts here.

He was ordained as a Ruthenian deacon but lived in Birmingham Alabama, where there are no Ruthenian parishes. As a result, he was blessed by the Ruthenian Archeparch and Melkite Eparch to serve St George Melkite parish there, which he has done for many years. On this past Saturday evening, he reposed in the Lord.

God of spirits and all flesh, Who hath trampled death, overcome the evil one, and granted life to the world; now, O Lord, give rest to the soul of Your servant, the Deacon Stan,
who has fallen asleep in the Lord. Lead his soul to a place of light and love, a place of green pastures, in which there is neither pain, nor sorrow, neither tears nor sighing, but only life everlasting.

O God, as You are good and the Lover of Mankind, forgive him every sin committed, whether by thought, or word, or deed, for there is no man who lives and who does not sin.
For You alone are without sin and You are the Resuurection and the Life and the Blessed Repose of Your servant. To You we send up glory, together with Your Father, Who is without beginning, and Your All-Holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

May his memory be eternal and may the Holy Protomartyr Stephen, Patron of the Order of Deacons, lead him to the Holy Table, at which he will serve for eternity.

Prayers for his Pani and his earthly and spiritual families.

With the saints give rest, 0 Christ, to the soul of Thy servant Father Deacon Stan where sickness and sorrow are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.

Prayers and much love to dear Pani Rose.

May his memory be eternal.

Prayers as well for CAF member Pani Rose and her family.

May Fr. Deacon Stan find rest in the realm of light and peace, may his memory be eternal, and may Rose and family be comforted by kind and loving memories…

May he rest in peace, light perpetual shine upon him, and may Christ welcome His faithful servant at the Gates of Heaven. And may God Almighty pour out His peace and comfort upon those who still are pilgrims upon this Earth, and whom mourn the death of their loved one. Amen.
