Regarding St. Joseph of Arimithea, I don’t mean to imply any lack of grace in him. I simply find it easier to bypass the moniker, in the same way we don’t always throw out the titles St. Mary, St. Peter, St. Paul, etc., as we go through these Scripture Forums. If you think I am ridiculing him, then you are jumping to conclusions that I do not intend to create.

We know three things regarding the burial site.

1. It was close to Golgotha.
2. It was fast approaching sundown of the Sabbath.
3. Joseph was a follower of Jesus.

We also know that Jesus’ family was from Nazareth, so the chances of whisking him away and prepare his body for a quick burial in his home area prior to the Sabbath were not possible. The women were going back to the burial site Sunday morning… doesn’t one of the Gospels mention a purpose of preparing Jesus for a proper burial? One would assume that Jesus would be buried with Joseph (or St. Joseph for any of my quick-to-jump-to-conclusions friends) and any other kinfolk.

yes, some do. But that is yet another recent invention of man.

The Beloved Disciple was at the Last Supper and the Synoptics tell us that the Twelve were the only ones with our Lord in the Upper Room.

Please tell us which book/chapter/verse in the Bible talks about a British/Welsh King.

As for the Gospel which of the four Gospels was it? How could it be in England within two years of the Resurrection considering the earliest Gospel was written about 40 years after the death and Resurrection of Jesus.

I think “Pontius the pilot” is not the only one flying.
