Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7

So paradise is devoid of all life forms except for people and angels ?

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true, and with justice doth he judge and fight. Rev 19:11

14 And the armies that are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.Rev 18:14

It looks like the Bible says that there are horses in heaven.
Thank you…typo on my part Rev 19:11–24.

Ok…here’s another few:
Ecclesiates 3:18-21, this is where King Solomon explains things… I think he was pretty smart-no?

Gen9:13-17 same fate for animals and men

It does say:
“humans have no advantage over animals. …All go to the same place.”

It does say:
“humans have no advantage over animals. …All go to the same place.”
I would take that to mean that “our” spirits… animals and humans are under the direct control of God .

"And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13)

Every creature on earth — man, animals,
Every creature in the sea —fish
Every creature in Heaven — man and angels only? and they’re called “creatures”? Not “beings”?

Good quote. And here is Ecclesiastes:
I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for he has appointed a time for every matter, and for every work. I said in my heart with regard to human beings that God is testing them to show that they are but animals. For the fate of humans and the fate of animals is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and humans have no advantage over the animals; for all is vanity. All go to one place; all are from the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knows whether the human spirit goes upward and the spirit of animals goes downward to the earth? So I saw that there is nothing better than that all should enjoy their work, for that is their lot; who can bring them to see what will be after them?
So the writer here is admitting that the ‘spirit of animals’ does go somewhere after death. Like I said earlier, spirits are energy and energy cannot be destroyed. It has to go somewhere. It does not imply that there are animals in heaven. Why should there be? They cannot contemplate God. Their spirit goes somewhere else, perhaps they just hang around earth unnoticed by us humans.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?** Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.**

Luke 12:6

"And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:13)

Thank you:) this makes sense to me too…

But it does show that it is possible that the spirit of one’s beloved pet could go to Heaven if God wills it to be.

Because the Bible says:
“humans have no advantage over animals. …All go to the same place.”
The whole quote from Ecclesiastes:
For the fate of humans and the fate of animals is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and humans have no advantage over the animals; for all is vanity. All go to one place;** all are from the dust, and all turn to dust again**.
The writer is referring to the death of the body. Then he goes on to opine whether our spirit goes up (to heaven) and animal’s soul “goes downward to the earth” (earth-bound).

None of this implies that animals will be with us in heaven, but it doesn’t say they won’t be with us, either. But the stronger thought here is that we go ‘up’ and animals stay on the earth.

Read CCC. 1703, God Bless, Memaw
1703 Endowed with “a spiritual and immortal” soul, the human person is “the only creature on earth that God has willed for its own sake.” From his conception, he is destined for eternal beatitude.

What does “only creature” mean? It is from Gauduium et Spes
Indeed, the Lord Jesus, when He prayed to the Father, “that all may be one. . . as we are one” (John 17:21-22) opened up vistas closed to human reason, for He implied a certain likeness between the union of the divine Persons, and the unity of God’s sons in truth and charity. This likeness reveals that man, who is the only creature on earth which God willed for itself, cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of himself.

It has nothing to do with animals but rather our own responsibility of self giving.

1704 The human person participates in the light and power of the divine Spirit. By his reason, he is capable of understanding the order of things established by the Creator. By free will, he is capable of directing himself toward his true good. He finds his perfection “in seeking and loving what is true and good.”

We can understanding the order of things in a way animals cannot. We have free will.

1705 By virtue of his soul and his spiritual powers of intellect and will, man is endowed with freedom, an “outstanding manifestation of the divine image.”

We can understand with our intellect and enjoy freedom.

1706 By his reason, man recognizes the voice of God which urges him “to do what is good and avoid what is evil.” Everyone is obliged to follow this law, which makes itself heard in conscience and is fulfilled in the love of God and of neighbor. Living a moral life bears witness to the dignity of the person.

This gives us obligations.

And so our experience, whether in this life or the next is different from animals. They do not understand as we do nor have the responsibilities we do. That does not necessarily exclude them. It only limits their understanding.

And it DOESN’T say it includes them either!! God Bless, Memaw
