Tim Roemer has dropped out of the DNC race.

This is really sad. Surely there are better people to run the party than screaming Dean? Or are there???

Maybe it is time for a replacement party?

I thought that the DNC was serious about becoming a respectable party. Howard Dean? They might as well elect Howard the Duck.

This can only be an answer to much prayer by the Republican Pary. This might also advance our Pro-Life battle.

If you’re a Republican.😃

The Republican Party organized prayer circles for this? I doubt it.

In what way?

If the DNC splinter into smaller, more ideologically cohesive bodies, then the Pro-life movement will meet with less resistance along party lines, as NARAL, NOW, and PP will have a smaller basis for support and political action.

Pretty telling quote:

“I got into this race five weeks ago to talk about the devastating loss we experienced in November,” Roemer said in an interview. “It was not about 60,000 votes in Ohio. It was about losing 97 of the 100 fastest growing counties in the country. If that’s a trend in business or politics you’re in trouble.”

We should not be surprised that they reject an anti-death candidate. The big money of the party is behind death. Through God’s providence, they will extinct themselves - hopefully figuratively before literally.

I suspect it is not about ideology as much as it is about the campaign war chest - he, for some reason, is able to get people to contribute huge sums.

Not so much smaller. Mr. Bush wone by no landslide and abortion wasn’t an issue for most people. Given that the majority of Americans support some abortion, those Republicans who oppose abortion and those Democrats who do (Democrats For Life, of which I am a member, e.g.) can only work for more restriction on abortion, not its abolition.
