Death as a result of original sin

-Men die from the same causes as the creatures that existed before man.

How do we reconcile the teaching of 1018 with science & reason?

Science knows only about the* fallen * world, the world subject to the bondage of decay. The terrestrial paradise still exists, and it is still uncorrupted by death.
