Since a catechumen together with his or her desire of baptism, repentance of sins, and charity can achieve salvation, what would happen to someone who wanted to embrace the faith but died before becoming a catechumen?

Your answers will be much appreciated.

Dear Mr.,

The Church would consider anyone with the desired to embrace the faith, but died before being baptized to have had baptism of desire. This would hold, even if the person had not yet joined the RCIA.
