A death notice has been published in several Spanish daily newspapers for all the “innocent victims” of abortion, where lawmakers earlier this month approved a bill to liberalise the procedure.

Pro-active Pro-Life. The Spaniards may be on to something, read more:signofcross:

That is an interesting idea! Perhaps it would work better in America if we did specifics… like get a converted mom who killed her child to post one with his/her name, etc. That would probably touch people more.

I’ve often wondered why a local parish wouldn’t offer some of their grounds for the internment of aborted fetus remains and erect small crosses. I’m told some have done this. Anyone know of it?

There was a funeral service for 3 aborted babies whose remains had been found in a dumpster outside of a MI abortion clinic. They were buried at the Shrine in Alabama (Mother Angelica’s) beneath a statue of the Pieta. At that same clinic there were remains of about 50 babies (different body parts), along with the medical records of the mothers - all thrown in the trash in clear violation of the law. A pro-life rescue group found these things and has been having funeral and burial services for them around the country. As a matter of fact, there was a plane crash in Montana (or maybe Nebraska) about a year ago. It was a private plane owned by the man who ran the most prolific abortion centers in his state (again, maybe Montana or NE). His son and his family were on that plane and died. The plane crashed in a graveyard and landed at the grave of aborted babies. Coincidence? I think not.

Our parish will have a Mass for the lost unborn, those lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, and abortion early next year. We will follow that with an abortion recovery support group to help those who have undergone abortions to grieve and manage the many emotions that result from their abortions.
