Lord of mercy and healing, Look with immense compassion upon this family, devastated by the loss of their husband and father. Take pity upon his soul, revealing Your unfathomable love to him in the afterlife. Graciously hear the prayers of the faithful on their behalf, and strengthen the family and loved ones during this time of sorrow. Surround them with hearts of love as they grieve. Father, we know that Your promises are trustworthy. We pray also that the widow and children look to You alone for hope. Join our prayers with those of the Angels and Saints to form an endless petition for mercy upon this man’s soul, and upon his suffering family.
