I found out that the commuter train I used to ride to work hit and killed a person who was trespassing on the tracks early this morning. No other details. Prayers for the repose of his/her soul and comfort to the family.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

May their soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

May he/she have perfect contrition before
death, even if it is a suicide. May he/she
NOT refuse God’s offer of unconditional,
eternal and infinite love in the Person of
Jesus Christ, who died and rose again
ON OUR BEHALF so that we may have
LIFE and life to it’s full (not the empty
life that satan holds out for the unsuspecting)

May the deceased rest in peace and may the surviving find comfort in the Lord and the support of each other.

Mary.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please have mercy on their soul, and give comfort to their family and loved ones.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
