See, I wasn’t aware of this. For me what usually happens is I will read an article and often quote similar to the article. In which case I have seen the specific address of an individual vary. Course for me I know he is a Bishop so had an article used just Timothy Ware, then in respect I have added Bishop. So to some degree people I have to believe are quoting from an article and apply the same respect by the author of the article.

Needless to say I have no problem respecting these people.
I’ve been reading along and being very uneducated in other faith traditions I would have a difficult problem not know what title or name to give a person. I would hope if I were to use a name that was changed in taking on a new office or position that someone would respectfully let me know how a person’s new title or name should be used. Thanks, everyone for this information.

We’re already ahead of Facebook. They don’t allow religious titles of any sort.

Just think if we could get along well enough to start a Christian Social Media that would not allow the “junk” like swearing, hate mongering, etc. I guess it would take some serious understanding among different Christian groups in order to define some of the basics, but I’m a total optimist. 👍
