Blantantly baby killing has happened in the past by King Herod The Great. King Herod represent government power.

I think woman privacy right will-- in its own time – protect woman and her fetus, despite, now, many woman use such right to choose abortion.

Through church teaching, more women (and men) would choose life. Thus woman privacy right is good.

Illegalizing abortion is to surrender one’s privacy to King Herod: institutions which indiscriminately exploit people to its own profit.

Just not long ago a UK judge ordered a mentally ill woman to abort her pregnancy by court order on the ground she was seen as incapacitated in raising the child in her womb. If only she were a US citizen, no US judge could do what UK judge did to her.

Would you support it if the Civil Law Give Right for Husband to Consent to/ Forbid Wife's Abortion Moral Theology
Have you ever DNA tested your parents, Francisca? I did mine. And one of my parents was not my bio-parent. Adultery is the injustice, not the fetus. Fetus is a victim. Rape is the injustice, not the fetus. Fetus is definitely a victim. We don’t blatantly kill victims, because of an injustice against them (although may people today would prefer to). Exploitation, adultery, prostitution, and rape are an injustice. Society and law need to create a system that stands against these injustices, …
I have never checked my DNA. I always assume my father is also my DNA father. But even if he were not my DNA father, it wont matter much for me, because he is the only man who has been faithful to mom and is the provider for whole family despite he is not perfect as a human being, he is my father.

And supposedly my mom were pregnant again, and there is another man claim that he is the father of that pregnamcy, I would want the law to protect my father’s right to protect his own family. If he decide to allow the child to live, the other man should never given the right to come near our house. He should not be given fatherhood right based on adultery. Only the husband has fatherhood right, and he has the right to adopt the child as his own without any dispute from any other man.

I am no lawyer, only a bible reader and am trying to follow the small voice in my heart.

You have a good heart, Francisca, and I believe you when you say that it wouldn’t matter who the bio-father is, because your dad is your dad. That is absolutely how I felt about my situation.

I also believe that you are spot-on in your perspective of a married father’s right to protect his own family. Whether the a child is his or not by his wife, he has the right to keep his family intact without the interference of other adults. There is a current movement within the US that wants to make a child born within marriage available for child visitation to the biological father who is the affair partner. I believe this is wrong in so many ways. Children have a right to an intact family that is legally protected by marriage.

It is more complicated now because civil court allow divorce and remarry. So then there are children from prvious marriage who are from two different fathers acknowledged by the law.

Everytime there is adultery, in most cases, if husband knows, divorce is the outcome. And the church have no advice to give. It sounds senseless to force them to stay married with the fetus from the other man in her womb. Yet, our bible teach that is what a man should do: to forgive the wife, raise the child as if his own, and dismiss the other man empty handed.

There should be husband right to apply restraining order against the biological father, when the child is under aged, so this other man will comeback to his own wife and learn to be faithful to her, instead of trying to build relation with a child from other man’s wife as if he has fatherhood right to do so.

Whenever the child grow more mature and find out he has other dna father, he/she may want to forgive the dna father and contact him. This is good because the child is now a mature adult and understand the concept of God’s mercy, and will not be confused by what’s acceptable/ unacceptable within parents’ marriage.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the law states that any child of a married couple is the fathers child whether he was the actual biological father or not. So if this is true, unless the mother wants to prove her husband is not the father, the husband is the legal father and the other male has no right to make any claims. If the mother wanted the other male to have any rights whatsoever, then she would have to initiate a DNA test and court proceedings to give the other male any rights to the child. Otherwise he is person non grata.

I believe this is the law in many states.
However, there is a movement politically where men’s rights groups are pushing for the “other man”, aka affair partner, to be able to legally file for paternity testing and assert his parental rights if the DNA test shows that the child is biologically his.
I don’t agree with this because it greatly impedes marital healing when a precious affair partner remains in the picture.

Men are funny creatures. Until recently, it was much more difficult for a marriage to reconcile when the wife had an affair. Husbands were so willing to extend forgiveness, even if a pregnancy never occurred as a result of the adultery.

Women, however, were more willing to forgive and move past the affair, especially if they had children with their husband and even when his adultery produced another child outside of the marriage. Society placed an expectation for a wife to forgive her husband’s affair (and this still applies in faith-based marriages) and remain in the marriage, while a betrayed husband has less expectation to do so.

Also, in faith-based marriages, those outside of the marriage are more empathetic toward a husband’s reasons for betraying his wife with adultery. The betrayed wife is expected to forgive his actions and move forward as if nothing wrong has occurred. It is really sick and has been my lived experience for the past 7 years.

In secular society, people have the perspective that what happens in a marriage is the business of the partners and thus it is not the concern of anyone outside of the marriage to judge.

One exception to this is a large family with a number of children. Then nosey, secular busy-bodies want to know from the wife why she had so many kids within a marriage that was bad enough to end in divorce. In addition, older (teens+) children of the marriage get drilled on why their parents had so many children if the marriage was bad enough to end in divorce.

In society, it’s ok for people to have several children as a result of multiple relationships, but God help a married couple that has a large number of children together. Five or 8 kids by Tom, Dick, or Harry and Jane, Sue, or Sally is a-ok, but the wrath of society if experienced when John and Jennifer create six children together within the bonds of their marriage.

I would testify that these cultural biases are part of the reason that society supports abortion. It is the total disregard of the family unit that results within the bonds of marriage.
