Def. of the Papacy for fundamentalist

There is a Fundamentalist who seems to have what we bleive the Papacy to be a little mixed up. I figured I should point to the CCC. Does anyone know where in the CCC that the Papacy is officially defined? Thanks and God bless.

You might like to know that there is a nice online index to the CCC. The same site also has a search engine. Here is the link to the place in the index to find the some of the information you wanted. You might not notice it, but it has 882 listed on the same line as the words supreme pontiff (this is the paragraph Verbum told you to check out). Click on the alphabet letters to use the index.

Thank you. I shall do that.

But, the reason I ask for CCC is that the Fundamentalist Gentleman doesn’t clearly see what we teach about the Papacy (He thinks that we think that he is Infall. on everything from Morals to politics to weather, ect and impeccable) so I want to clearly defin what we think on the Papacy (since there is no Scripture to support Papal Impecc.).
