Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS), Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) and other Members of Congress today introduced the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act. None of the self-proclaimed pro-feminist senators or representatives joined in. One would think Senators Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Hillary Clinton (D-NY) would jump at the opportunity to provide more information to women as they face a life changing, or life ending, decision. As science reveals more information, women considering abortion have a right to know that information.
They have a right to know not only what they will feel, but what their unborn child will feel and to have an opportunity to minimize the unborn child’s pain. None of the self-proclaimed “champions of choice” in Congress or national “women’s rights” organizations joined in to introduce this bill – legislation that would not place a single restriction on access to abortions. Could it be that so-called feminists like Senator Clinton are really more concerned about protecting the multi-million dollar-a-year abortion industry that so zealously buys the support of the Democratic Party?
