I myself have one answer to this problem: 1984 is a novel by George Orwell about a dystoin world set in the United States. Many people were captivated by the characters in the novel. Some people even believed that the United Stated would infact become a dystopian society in the year 1984. When 1984 passed those people were shocked. Was the book pointless, ridiculess, or just the imagination of some bored guy? Of course not the book teaches that any culture could become totalitarian. The Bible is the way. Regaurdless of its inconsistencies the Bible teaches what God is willing to do for his people and what mankind is expected to do in return.
