Is there a difference between being poor in spirit and
spiritual poverty?

The Catechism uses “poverty in spirit” and “poor in spirit” interchangeably.

I hope that helps.

One and the same. Some of the wealthiest people in the world like kings and queens have been saints because of this spirit of poverty. You can be the richest man in the world and be the poorest man in the world. You can be the poorest man in the world and be the richest man in the world.
