Could you try something for me,
When you feel bad, and feel a demonic presence ,
Get really aggressive and tell this thing to F. Off and be Gone,
Then say out loud the Lords Prayer 3 Times.

This is a very human response. There are times we just feel like telling evil to “(swear words)”, so I find this post humourously honest; but true, for all we know getting a response such as swear words might well be all the temper wanted to achieve, even towards him, because swearing is (I think) from the wrong direction, so it could be that swearing is a prayer to satan. And another stripe on his shoulder.

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Angel of God, my Guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

I have a meeting to meet with my priest today. I feel like any time I read something I’m not ready for, I struggle with wrath and confusion. I made the mistake of reading an article from an abbot on what the monastic life entailed, when others have told me I’m not ready for it yet (including my spiritual director). Now I’m struggling with temptations to anger and outbursts of wrath because the material is messing with my head and causing me to get confused and depressed. The biggest issue is that now that I’ve read this stuff about the call to monasticism, I feel like maybe I have to try to live like a monk now, and there’s this warped idea that the pamphlet was saying that it’s either the monastary or the vanities of the world (which isn’t true, because the married life and other calls to secular vocations clearly exist).
It’s become easier and easier to vent out my anger and I need to deal with this as soon I possibly can, because it’s going to end in me eventually doing something I’ll regret for the rest of my life.

one should always face there Demons head on, one should not swear ,, but sometimes you must assert yourself when faced with a fearsome apponant ,,

but deliver us from evil.

St. Thérèse of Liseux Prayer From “Story of A Soul”

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Amen. †

Lord, thank you that you are with me right now.
Your love surpasses all fear.
I give you the anxiety I feel.
I surrender all my worries to you.
Clear my mind;
Calm my heart;
Still my Spirit;
Relax my being, that, I may
always glorify you in everything
I write, speak and do.

Amen. †

No. Don’t do this. Only a priest has the authority to speak to demons.

Just make the Sign of the Cross, sprinkle some Holy Water and ask Jesus to help you.

I agree with other posters that you may want to seek counseling from a priest.

God bless you.

Thank you so much for praying for me Pier. I just got back from Confession and things are going much better now than they were. God bless you for your prayers, and may He come to you in time of need.

Kyrie eleison. God, our Lord, King of ages, All-powerful and Almighty, You Who made everything and Who transforms everything simply by Your will. You Who in Babylon changed into dew the flames of the “seven-times hotter” furnace and protected and saved the three holy children. You are the doctor and the physician of our souls. You are the salvation of those who turn to You.
We beseech You to make powerless, banish, and drive out every diabolic power, presence and machination; every evil influence and all evil actions aimed against your servant. . . Where there is envy and malice, give us an abundance of goodness, endurance, victory, and charity. O Lord, You who love man, we beg You to reach out Your powerful hands and Your most high and mighty arms and come to our aid.
Help us, who are made in Your image, send the angel of peace over us, to protect us body and soul. May he keep at bay and vanquish every evil power, every poison or malice invoked against us by corrupt and envious people. Then, under the protection of Your authority may we sing, in gratitude, “The Lord is my salvation; whom should I fear?”
I will not fear evil because You are with me, my God, my strength, my powerful Lord, Lord of peace, Father of all ages. Yes, Lord our God, be merciful to us, Your image, and save your servant . . . from every threat or harm from the evil one, and protect him or her by raising him or her above all evil. We ask you this through the intercession of our Most Blessed, Glorious Lady, Mary ever Virgin, Mother of God, of the most splendid archangels and all yours saints. Amen."
Lord, You Who said, “I leave you peace, my peace I give you,” grant that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every evil spell and enjoy Your peace always. In the Name of Christ, our Lord.
Amen."*

August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee to send thy holy Legions, that, under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe. Amen.
