Look at the voting records of both Democrats and Republicans and there are very very few who defend both life in the womb and defend life out of the womb.
Only if one accepts the Democrat Party definition of defending life outside the womb. But we are getting derailed. Even if what you say is true one simply can justify their support of infanticide regardless of how nice they are to those lucky enough to escape the womb alive.

So we must accept only the Democrat’s view of social justice? Sorry, but that is not the only valid point of view.

One point that I’ve seen in reading several of these threads about ‘life’ issues is that members who identify with the Republican party often state they are willing to leave the party if the party adopts a “pro-abortion” stance.

Conversely, those who identify with the Democratic party refuse to abandon the party, and actually rationalize their loyalty to it, despite the overwhelming “pro-abortion” position of the party.

Further, those who identify with the Democratic party seem to justify their support of the pro-abortion politicians by employing a couple different tactics.
  • They often blame Republicans for not reversing the damage done by Democrats, and say that not reversing the damage is worse than doing the harm!
  • They also seem to employ moral relativism, against Church teaching, by saying that social issues are better handled by Democrats and that implies that “social justice” issues outweigh in importance “life” issues.
