God would not hand you over to the enemy. God wills your salvation and happiness now and in eternity. Only you have the power to hand yourself over to the devil. You have free will. God wants you in heaven for eternity with Him. That is why He created you. Now that you have experienced the devil you know that God exists and so too does Satan. Choose the light and stay in it. That is choose God. Live a sacramental life in and with the Catholic Church using all the means provided for our salvation. The Sacraments are necessary and are extremely powerful. What you have experienced is a tremendous grace from God. Have no fear. If you are not catholic then please do consider joining the Catholic Church. Frequent recourse to the Eucharist, confession etc. are powerful means of strengthening ourselves in the spiritual combat.
