Okay, so I purchased a lot of books through a resale site a while back. I do this often and then just donate the ones I don’t want. In this particular group I noticed a box with several bibles, most looked like the ones you find in hotels. Being that they were Bibles I didn’t want to throw them away so I figured I would just hang on to them until I found somewhere to donate them. So there they sat on my bookcase. So last night i was dusting and for some reason decided to look through them, I still can’t believe what I saw. On the inside cover of two are sigils used in demon summoning spells and the word Satan. But that is not all I am almost 100% certain it is written in blood. Here’s the thing for two years we have had all this crazy stuff happen from very bad car accidents to job loss. Health issues and most traumaticly my husband unexpectedly passing away in the house from diabetic seizure. This is not including the consistent paranormal activity so much so that we had the house blessed, I threw out anything I thought might be an open door and even contacted paranormal investigators. Now I know where it is coming from but WHAT DO I DO NOW? I have 3 children and we just put house up for sale last month because of all the terrible issues and it was right there in front of me. I researched as much as I could and do know that they are definitely the real thing. According to what I learned in religious studies it blood is powerful and symbolic. Supposedly most wiccans say 1or 2 drops is all ever needed. This was a lot more! Palm and thumb prints, much more on many inside pages. Please Help if anybody could tell me what I should do I would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you talk to a priest, show him the stuff, and do what he tells you.

Take them to your Church and show them and tell them what you have said here. If there is something diabolic, it is best left for the Church to handle it.

What you are suffering from is likely demonic oppression. I would suggest contacting your priest, maybe even Bishop. This is serious stuff. In the meantime, purchase yourself a book called “Deliverance prayers for use by the Laity” by Fr. Chad Ripperger, he’s an exorcist. The prayers are for lay people, all you have to do is search it on amazon.

Check out the channel Sensus Fidelium, they do videos on demonic oppression and other things that would be very helpful to you.

Demonic Oppression-

Weapons against the demonic-

Say a Rosary and Saint Michael’s chaplet daily. If you want to kick it up a notch, use pray the prayers of the Auxilium Christanorum, they are known to be very beneficial. It is recommended you talk to your priest about this first though.

God bless you. I will say a decade for you tomorrow.

Yes, this definitely sounds like demonic oppression. Contact a good, knowledgeable priest and get that stuff out of your house as soon as possible, by the direction of your priest. God bless you.

Thank you guys so very much for all the advice. I will contact our priest. Tomorrow afternoon, I hope that he will take them and also come to my house for another blessing. Whatever he thinks is best. Thanks again it is so very much appreciated!

You put the bibles on your bookcase instead of keeping them in the box? Even though you planned on donating them?

I am sorry if you have had lots of troubles for the past two years. But you can’t blame the recent purchase on the problems.
Supposedly most wiccans say 1or 2 drops is all ever needed.
Since when did wiccans use blood? I am very suspicious if you are getting wrong information from somewhere.
WHAT DO I DO NOW?
You have not thrown out the books or contacted a Priest to bless the house again?

Edited my post because I see you have already called the priest so you’re on the right track.

Next time, call Father first and skip the “paranormal investigators”.

God bless

According to Catholic practice, the proper and reverent way to dispose of any Bible or other holy books which have become damaged or defaced is to burn or bury them. Since they have become defaced, I recommend you simply find a safe way to burn them so that no trace remains. Then, forget about them. Such items hold no power over the Baptized who put their faith in Christ.

Another thread on demonic possession where everyone immediately assumes OPs perceptions are perfectly accurate.

I’m not saying OP is lying or anything, but it’s at least worth considering whether there might be some mental health concerns here.

Wow. That was some story !
I’m truly sorry for all your losses.
I’m glad an angel - or Holy Spirit - lead you to the possible source of the problem.

This guy bought this book - a tough guy -
But he obviously - bargained for more than he got.

Just to reiterate: please cut any and all contact with “paranormal investigators”. They have no clue what they are doing. Stick with priests, who actually know something about spiritual warfare.

The “necronomicon” is a fake book featured in horror stories by HP Lovecraft. It’s fictional. No more threatening than Hannibal Lecter.

People really need to be a little more skeptical about stuff like this…

True.

There is real cases of demonic activity but as any huge H.P. Lovecraft fan (like myself) knows the "Necronomicon” is a work of fiction. There is a atheistic Satanist book of the same title but I don’t consider it a real work of evil anymore than any other quasi spiritual atheistic book.

I have done some research on the subject, enough to know some basics and that I don’t want to know more unless I have to. If you are worried about demonic activity talk to a priest (make an appointment so your not rushed) Go to confession and attend Mass regularly. Pray the rosary. Do these things and unless it is a particularly extreme case you should have nothing to worry about.

Assuming the person posted in good faith, I think some people just get overly frantic when they see something they think might be “demonic”, especially if they have kids in the house.

As I said in the post I deleted, if I found some hotel Bible with Satan stuff on the front, I’d just assume some disturbed person probably on drugs who was staying in a hotel decided to put markings on the front to scare whoever was going to be in the room next, or maybe because they are out of their mind on substances. It’s teenage druggie stuff. I just say a prayer and forget it.

Other people who come from a culture where people try to curse each other, or who came out of some Protestant evangelical background where they worry a lot about Satanic this and Satanic that, might get all uptight. I don’t like to immediately call people mentally ill unless they post here that they saw Jesus on a flying saucer in the middle of their breakfast table or something.

Just to be clear, I’m not saying she IS mentally ill. Just that mental health might be an appropriate thread to tug on a bit. There could be something genuinely metaphysical going on. There could also be something going on entirely in her head. Just worth considering. I think people tend to immediately take these posts at face value, and I’ve never understood why.

There are a huge number of posts on here on non-demonic topics also, that people take at face value that strike me as either possibly fake or possibly posted by a disturbed individual.

I think people want to give others the benefit of the doubt. Also, people want to be “helpful”.

I knew a lady in the office once who did call in paranormal investigators. The thing she was up against was choking and harassing the paranormal investigators. They told her it was too powerful for them and they had to leave the house while they still could. They told her to get out of there as soon as possible. I don’t know what she did then.

I don’t think she was Catholic.

True. I remember finding that out. I had always heard about this super scary book of evil, but then I found out it was made up.
