You are braver than me! I would literally be $#%@ing bricks if that happened to me. No way I would sleep that night!

Though this could also just be stress (and it probably is just stress) I would definitely talk to a priest about it. Maybe even write the Bishop and ask him to pray for you (he has authority over all demons in his diocese).

The book someone recommend earlier in the thread “Spiritual Warfare” by Paul Thigpen is loaded with deliverance prayers and other helpful things, you could give that a try. Laudate also has some deliverance prayers in it, you might give those a try.

If in the past you experienced an oppression or infestation, those were most likely resolved. However things hissing in your room or on the phone when you are trying to talk sound a bit like infestation. I have been through this. Thinking of it like it is sort of a spiritual roach infestation, should take the fear out of it!
Deliverance prayers should take care of this. Since you have had brushes with all this, as I have, it is important to stay the course with everything you have been doing along with the suggestions on this thread.

Don’t be afraid, God does circles around the demons. You sound like a wonderful person. I have every confidence you will stay that way.

Thnk u mis therese♡ i dont have a Crucifix above my door but i will buy one tomorrow at the Catholic store…i just love that store! I always feel so wonderful in it.

I never knew i could write the Bishop a letter for prayers. Do i need to be anonymous or i can put my name on it correct?

I think i will copy and paste my question here and make an appointment to read it to him. Maybe i should do a general confession. Ive never done that before because i dont understand under what circumstances they are used for.

  • yes it was scary but i felt better after praying. I always fall asleep listening to Church things or devotions or Sacred music like gregorian chants that last for 8 hours because it helped me get rid of those nightmares.

Thank you for your kind words. Why God permits this kind of think is mostly a mystery. In my case, it really wasn’t.
→ I opened the door for it, however I did not open the door for some of the awful things that happened in my childhood. I have to wonder based on what you said about your Dad if he did not have something to do with it. I found out by accident that during the first infestation I went through, others namely my younger sister was also experiencing it. The last night I spent in the house I grew up in, there were loud bangs on the wood paneled walls of my room, as if someone was swinging a hammer and hitting it. I was terrified and could not move. 30 years later, my sister told me it happened in her room, way on the other side of the house. [a big house] The second round of infestations brought worse things, but that is all in the past now.

It is forbidden to say deliverance prayers for anyone but yourself, your married spouse, and your children, but you can ask for the intercession of Mary, Benedict, and Michael, for your father and or Mother, you can ask our Lord to melt any residual anger you have for your father, all these things will help.

Your story is very inspiring to me and how close you are to the Lord makes me warm, just imagine what God feels when you pray to Him!

For the blessed and exorcized salt, you can use any salt and ask your priest to bless it and exorcise it. Ask your priest to exorcise the salt with this prayer: Exorcism and Blessing of Salt (necessary for Exorcism of Water)

P: O salt, creature of God, I exorcise you by the living (+) God, by the true (+) God, by the holy (+) God, by the God who ordered you to be poured into the water by Elisha the prophet, so that its life-giving powers might be restored. A miraculous medal is a medal based on the apparitions that St. Catherine received. I wear it around my neck with a St Benedict crucifix at all times. I do not know all of the history behind it, so feel free to look it up on google. Ah man, that sucks that you can’t get a priest over. Try to push it a little more, just so you can get your room blessed. You are a responsible adult and deserve to make your own decisions and you should be able to have a priest come to your room.

Yes, ask your priest if he knows of an exorcist in your diocese or the neighbouring diocese. The exorcist can pray over you and say a prayer of protection. I’m not sure what a bishop can do concerning demons but he can certainly pray for you.There are countless novenas online and I suggest you pick your favorite one instead of taking a suggestion from me. For other forms of devotion, I would reccommend the st Michael chaplet which is rich in grace and promises. It honours the 9 choirs of angels in heaven. Thnk u 2towers im so sorry those things happened to u. I thank God youre in a place of peace. Everything u said reminded of the talk i listened to by Fr. Ripperger on having authority over the ppl u mentioned…but offering prayers for ppl we dont. I luv his talks. Ive learned so much from them.

A lot of posters have given you some sound advice.

Here are few other ideas… You could arrange either through your parish priest or offer your father up to the Our Lord privately at the beginning of a Mass.

Chaplet of Devine Mercy is a powerful, say this in your head when you are sitting with your father. Say this regularly for your father in his presence if possible.

It is all about saving souls! Thanks be to God! St. Faustina’s motto was GOD AND SOULS.
