I hope I’m posting this in the right place. My demonic oppression has been getting rapidly worse since late December 2019, despite doing everything I can to stop it. Yesterday, I requested that my Priest refer me to a Deliverance Counsellor or an Exorcist, so I’m waiting to hear back from him. I dread to think what further torment awaits me if there isn’t an intervention. I’ve been saying the prayers on the website ‘Auxilium Christianorum’, and was using the ‘St Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counselling’ website until it became unavailable for some reason. Does anyone have any other websites or advice that they would recommend for my situation? Thank you.

Definitely be in touch with your pastor. He will hopefully lead you in the right direction.
The St. Michael prayer is very powerful against the demonic. Make sure you stay in a state of grace. Ask Our Lady and St. Joseph(the terror of demons) to assist you in times of weakness and trouble. Also your patron Saint. Do not be fearful, I know this is easy to say when you aren’t dealing with it on this type of level, but fear drives them. They love it. Offer it up and stay close to Jesus and Our Lady.

Tis_Bearself, I didn’t know that about the St. Pio Center. Yes, I have seen a Doctor and a Psychiatrist, and they attribute some of the symptoms to anxiety. I believe the demon or demons inside me, or attached to me, have caused a condition that seems to mimic symptoms of anxiety.
Bungle, thank you for the suggestion. I pray the St. Michael prayer several times a day, and have recently been praying Father Gabriele Amorth’s deliverance prayers.

In addition to prayers already mentioned, I have found the Chaplet of St. Michael to be helpful as well.

Praying one for you momentarily. 🙏 📿 God bless 🙂

Thank you for the advice Traddy1962. I’ve been staying in a state of grace. I think you’re right about fear driving them, so may the Lord imbue us with courage. Our Lady and St. Joseph, pray for us.

UpUpAndAway, yes I pray the Chaplet of St. Michael every day aswell. It’s very good and kind of you to pray for me, I do greatly appreciate that. May God bless you, and I will remember you in my prayers too.

I don’t know if it’s real or my imagination, but when I started praying the Chaplet of St Michael various temptations in my life temporarily got a lot worse. I mean a lot worse.

I’m a very fact-oriented person but I sometimes wonder if there was something special about the experience or if my hormones were just completely out of wack for some reason.

TK421, well I’d guess the devil doesn’t like the Chaplet of St Michael, so maybe he was throwing extra temptations at you to try and discourage you. I hope you continue to recite the Chaplet, and may the Lord strengthen you to resist temptations, amen.

Fasting also can be very helpful. Even Jesus said some demons take fasting and prayer.
You may very well be doing these things already, just throwing them out there. I’ll remember you in my prayers today. Hope your pastor will be of assistance. Usually anything from Fr. Amorth is solid, so hope that helps as well.

Traddy1962, thanks again. I actually read that portion of scripture in the Gospel of Mark earlier where Jesus says some demons only come out through prayer and fasting. I have been fasting, but maybe I need to fast more. Thank you for your prayers, and I will pray for you also at Mass this evening. I’ve got Fr. Amorths books (may he rest in peace), and they’re excellent and very informative. God bless you.

Confess to a priest regularly to receive the Holy Mystery of Reconciliation, pray daily without ceasing (Jesus Prayer), receive the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist as often as possible & make a strong act of the will to avoid the occasion of sin.

Do not invite the devil into your life. Do not seek attention. Pray to God.

byzpilgrim, thanks for the reply. I’ve been going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation weekly. I’ve been partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass every day. I feel I’m praying quite a bit, but perhaps I need to up it even more. Lord have mercy.

I suffered from similar things earlier in life. You must be honest without yourself and your confessor, if you want to overcome.

byzpilgrim, sounds like you’re now free from demonic bondage, Glory to God! I’ve been brutally honest with my Confessions, but the Lord knows all our sins already before we even confess them. According to Fr Amorth, the devil doesn’t like the Confessional, so that’s good enough reason to persevere.

I would be very careful about offering this kind of help. It’s something that really should only be done by clergy and qualified mental health professionals working in concert. If you’re not qualified, this can be a very dangerous matter to mess with.

This is not something DIY or something that can be examined by a stranger online.

Make an appointment with your priest. If necessary, he will then speak to the Bishop’s office. They have authority if there is demonic activity, trying to DIY is playing with fire.

Especially since according to his profile he’s a “part time paranormal researcher”.

👍 A million times this.

The OP already said in his first posts that he has been seeing a doctor, psychiatrist, and has reached out to his priest for discussion and possible referral to an exorcist. He’s a vulnerable person right now and so far has been taking all the right steps.

People on this forum should not be asking him to message them privately for some kind of help or suggestion that cannot be shared with the whole forum.
