Why do people think that they will be reincarnated. Is this somthing sombody made up? Or is it possible that some of these religions where tuaght by people demonicaly possessed by evil spirits, in a attempt to spread opposition and confusion agaist the religion of yaweh. why isnt there just one belief system?

I think it is brought on by a fear of the unknown- they do not know anything other than this world, so they cannot imagine leaving it.

Reincarnation is a popular thought among many New Agers.

Also with Wiccans, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, and other Indian religions.

Reincarnation is just another human way of how their ancestors tried to interpret the afterlife, because after all, we will never know until we enter into that grave.

I think reincarnation is actually a rather natural belief, brought up by the observation of nature that we see around us. After all, a person is buried and is eaten by worms, which are eaten by birds, which are eaten by a mother who is pregnant with a child.

That being said, I’m not saying it’s correct, only that it can stem from perfectly natural observations and trains of thought.

For some TRULY demonic religions, I think of things like Voudoun (voodoo), which is based on possession by foreign spirits. I see no other explaination for the things that surround Voudoun than demonic influence.

Peace and God bless!

Satanism certainly comes to mind here.

Anyway, reincarnation is based on the principle of karma–it is inherently almost like the rule, “Do unto others”, as its main principle is whatever you do in this life will have its consequences in the next life you will live. The people you meet in this life, then for instance, you most probably met in a previous life, and that you might have a karmic purpose for such relationships. So, as an example, you are married to your spouse because you need to work out something that was not resolved in your previous life. The same is true for any other relationships you might have–whether they be with your father, mother, brother/sister, spouse, etc. All of these relationships might be connected with your past life in some way.

The thing about Satanism though, if we’re talking about the worship of Satan and not the Church of Satan (which is atheist/agnostic), is that it’s based directly on worshipping the devil. The creepy thing about Voudoun is that it’s not about worshipping demons directly but rather just “powerful spirits”. The fact that the faith is based on literally letting them possess you and control you is creepy, and it’s a sure sign of a demonic faith in my book. The practitioners will always deny that they’re worshipping demons, though, because they specifically worship “good deities”. Scary stuff!

This is only my own opinion. It seems to me that God put a desire to know him and ask questions about the universe on all of us humans. Those people who were not divenly inspired, like the ancient Jewish people, created religions to answer some of these questions. Due to the natural laws that are printed on all men’s hearts, it is possible that some of these religions have an aspect of truth(althought not the fullness of truth) in them. That is why when studying another religion that we can find admirable aspects of these religions. At least this has always been my take on why there are many religions.

certainly the devil is pleased by division among people in matters of religion, but every false religion was not founded by someone possessed of demonic spirits. Even cooperation with the devil and consent to evil is not the same thing as true demonic possession. Reincarnation is part of many ancient relgions such as Hindu which had their source in the natural human attempt to understand the supernatural and to explain the problem of evil on earth. no matter how faulty the conclusions, the attempt came out of something God-given, our natural reason.

Man can only know the full truth through God’s revelation, and God did not reveal Himself to these ancient peoples, only to the Jews, so only the religion that is the fulfillment of His covenant with His chosen people can be true, and that is Christianity. If all a people do not know about this, it is the duty of every Christian to evangelize, so that means some Chrisitians are not doing their duty. Also some who have been given the gift of Christian faith have rejected all or part of it. That implies cooperation with the devil and his temptations, but not demonic possession.

suggest you do a search on the topic of demonic possession and educated yourself on its true meaning.
