Sir Knight:
So, fortunately, most of us will never be attacked by Satan himself. I think he saves himself for what he considers bigger prizes.
Saints such as Padre Pio!!

No demons, but we did play with a qugi(sp?) board once as kids.Me and a buddy, where using the board and the pointer was really moving fast.I thought my buddy was pushing it due to the high level of spooky replies&fast movement. So I asked a question that I am 99% sure my friend did not know.I asked what my grandmothers maiden name is and the board got it right.I was never really scared of this kind of stuff,so I insulted the whatever you want to call it.At that same moment a rather large nicknack fell from a shelf in a different room.

I am still not afraid of this stuff, although I never did anything like this again.I feel somethings are better left alone and one should not go looking for trouble,no matter what ones intent is.

We had a friend once who, shortly after bringing her newborn home from the hospital, began noticing things happen in the baby’s room. A statue of Mary was in the room on a dresser, but she would always find it on the floor, or tipped over.

Once the baby was baptised, these things stopped.

For a while, during the twilight of sleep, I could hear things talking to me. I thought at first it was a communion with saints, until one said my confirmation was bad thing. I was praying alot during this time. It stopped after I heard the deceiver himself, not trying to hide his voice or intentions, trying to scare me. I woke up and said “Satan get behind me”, it has since stopped. I believe St. Micheal had alot to do with ceaseing of these twilight attacks. Tim

I am not sure if I have ever had any run ins with demons. The closest thing that I can think of was one night when I was sleeping I had a bad dream and woke up terrified. I thought demons were in the room and were after me. All of a sudden a felt an extreme love and that I was loved very much. I immediately attributed this to God and it calmed me down.

Exactly. Anyone who was blessed to receive the wounds of Christ would certainly have been a feather in Satan’s cap if he could have gotten Pio to turn his back on God.

By the way, was it actually Satan that tormented Pio or just his demons?
