Hello,

Where is the evidence? Within the last 100 years of medicine has a Doctor (M.D.) ever confirmed preternatural powers (levitation, supernatural strength, or “special knowledge”) in a patient attributed to demonic possession by an Excorcist?

Thank you.

There’s been plenty of witnesses throughout history, even recently I’m sure - but an acutal medical science record of such events? I doubt it. Any phenomena would probably be listed as “cause unknown” or what not.

Besides, the devil is immensely smarter than we are - and his biggest and most effective weapon in this age is making people think he does not exist. Therefore, from a strictly strategic stanpoint, he probably wouldn’t want to manifest such things in such a way as to convince non-believers that he is real.

the exorcism process in the Catholic Church is very rigorous and must follow canon law rules, and includes evaluation by a competent psychiatrist and by medical doctors to rule out mental and physical illness before the priest may perform an exorcism.

Then the answer must be yes, Doctors have proven the phenomena are not natural… though I was going to ask, why not as an exorcist!
