Denzinger

I noticed references to Denzinger in the Catechism. I happened upon a book called The Sources of Catholic Dogma on Amazon by Henry Denzinger. Can anyone tell me about this book?

If you have the money buy it. That one together with Otto’s “Fundamentals fo Catholic dogma” make wonderful references for everything that a normal lay person would like to know in regard to the specifics of dogmas.

The Denzinger references are references to paragraph #'s in the book “The Sources of Catholic Dogma”. Unfortunately there are 2 or 3 various numbering systems and the one used in the Catechism is different from the one in my book and the online texts that I know of.

Here are links to a couple of sites where you can access Denzinger’s “The Sources of Catholic Dogma” online.
