Hi everyone,

Some of you may have seen my previous posts about physical therapy grad school, and midterms last week. I can honestly say that I put almost all my heart, effort, and time studying for midterms. Although I am no Albert Einstein, those who know me would describe me as an intelligent person.

After finishing most of my midterms, I feel that I aced 4 (out of 5) of them. On the other hand, i feel that I failed 1 of them.

The one that I failed is the midterm that I put almost all my heart and soul studying for. Truthfully, i felt I knew the answers to most of the questions, however I ran out of time and did not even finish, therefore I blindly guessed on 30 questions without even reading the questions. In the end, I felt the midterm was not a test of knowledge (which I felt I had) but a test of speed reading.

If I fail this class, I will get kicked out of the program, and my career as a physical therapist goes down the drain.

I would like to ask for prayers for miracles that somehow I pass this class and that the instructor(s) in charge of grades finds empathy and kindness in their heart to give me an opportunity to show that I do have the knowledge to pass.

I would like to ask for prayers for all those in similar situation as well, that we are all Blessed with miracles. I thank you all, I pray for all of you each day, God Bless!

Praying for you. They may let you retake the exam. Some courses let you. Explain to them your situation. On the other hand if everyone was in the same boat as you they may have also not finished either. And the marks would be scaled.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle,
be our defense against the wickedness and snares
of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the
power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other
evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

St. Thérèse of Liseux Prayer From “Story of A Soul”
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Amen.

Lord, thank you that you are with me right now.
Your love surpasses all fear.
I give you the anxiety I feel.
I surrender all my worries to you.
Clear my mind;
Calm my heart;
Still my Spirit;
Relax my being, that, I may
always glorify you in everything
I write, speak and do.
Amen.

Jesus, Help Me
Thank You, dear Lord Jesus.
Amen.

Prayers said. All will be well. Do not fear, the Lord is protecting you.
Do not be lonely, your guardian angel is beside you.
Be comforted, Mother will watch over you, and the
Holy Spirit will guide you.
Amen.

Prayer Against Depression
By St Ignatius of Loyola
O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.
Amen.

Let Nothing Disturb You
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience,
Obtains all things,
Whoever has God
Lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.
Amen.

My Jesus,
I believe that You are
present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and
I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive
You sacramentally, come at least spiritually
into my heart. I embrace You
as if You were already there and
unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated
from You.
Amen.

Thank You dear Lord Jesus, always and
everywhere, for everything.
Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Pray 3X in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. My professor said we will receive our exam scores this Thursday.

By the tone of her voice, I feel that I did not do well. I am extremely depressed because I feel the exam is not indicative of the knowledge I have learned. Unless I ace the final exam, it is unlikely I will pass the class and therefore my goal of becoming a physical therapist goes down the drain. It terribly saddens me because I waited so long and worked so hard to even get accepted to physical therapy school, and now it may be taken away from me all because of one class (I have As and Bs in all of my other classes).

She is known for failing at least 3-8 people per year out of a small cohort of 35. Although people in pasts cohorts have pleaded to give them a second chance or extra credit opportunities, she is strict about staying firm about final grades.

I would like to ask for continued prayers for great news, great results, and great miracles, because probably the only way I can pass now is through some miracle.

I thank you all, I pray for all of you each day, God Bless!

Thank you for continued prayers everyone.

I got my results back, and although I studied and put almost all my effort into this class I still got a sub-par score.

Now, I will need at least an 81% on the final to pass the class which feels like a close to impossible task.

I would like to ask for prayers for guidance, wisdom, and miracles that I can make a decision on whether to leave PT school right now so that I can start early on another career path, OR to stay in PT school and pray that somehow God’s grace (together with hard work) will help me obtain that 81% on the final.

I thank you all, I pray for all of you each day, God Bless!
