Please pray for me. I have struggled with depression all my life, but the past few years have been relatively depression free. However, last Friday I had a relapse and ended up cutting myself. I’ve started seeing a counselor and I meet with a doctor on Tuesday about medication. I still want to hurt myself, and sometimes even think about killing myself. Pray that I make it through until I get the help I need. Thank you.

Steven,
I will pray for you as one who has self-mutilated to the point of needing blood trans-
fusions, has attempted suicide, and struggles daily with depression. I received my
official diagnosis of “very bipolar” 8 or 9 years ago. Life is still a daily challenge.
God bless you.

Hail Mary, fill of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.

Steven: I am very sorry to hear of your relapse. Although I haven’t had depression myself, I have experience of OCD which can also be a heavy burden. Remember how, with the Grace of God, you pulled through and that, with His Grace, you’ll come out on the other side once more.

Making a mental note to remember you at Sunday Mass and will certainly include you in my prayers tonight. :hug1: :gopray:

May God bless you and yours always!

Siobhán (a.k.a. “nahbios”).

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
