February

Guest
Please, friends, pray for my sadness and depression. This time of year is difficult for me, made worse by certain things going on in my life. I feel hopeless right now.

I pray that you feel better soon and that you’re able to work through these feelings of depression. If things get too bad for you please seek professional advise and assistance.
Prayerfully yours, Cosmian

So sorry for your sadness and praying for things to improve for you

Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
Amen

Thank you. Maybe I should have specified…I’m not all-around hopeless, just hopeless and depressed in finding love and being lonely. Certain factors are making this extremely tough for me right now.

I know exactly how you feel. I suffer from bouts of depression as well. I’ll pray for you, and please pray for me as well.

Hi, I think we’ve all been there and can empathize with the way you’re feeling. Personally, I think you find love by giving love. Try volunteering for a cause that speaks to you. The Holy Spirit will guide you to find that right fit. Helping others is the best feeling in the world - it makes you appreciate all you have and helps you see things more clearly. And you go to bed at night knowing that you made someone else’s life better today. That’s really why we’re here, isn’t it? To complete the work of Jesus on this earth and lead them back to Him by our example. Unite your suffering to Christ (He lost His friends when He needed them most), focus on the good things in your life and show your gratitude to Him by reaching out to others in need. I will pray that you find the love and friendship you seek. May God continue to bless and keep you in His care.

Praying very hard to St. Dymphna for your return to happiness.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen

Praying for you …

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Lord, I pray that February can make a friend and can even start going to daily Mass, if that is possible. February will be able to grow closer to you and will be able to receive graces that can help conquer the depression. May February get a good spiritual director for spiritual help and for true friendship; and get a good Catholic therapist, if the loneliness becomes unbearable. I agree, Lord, with the poster who recommended volunteering at a special place that speaks to February. Giving (love) is greater than receiving (love), though receiving love is so comforting…and we can’t give what we don’t have. So I ask that you, Lord, grant February a heart filled with love for you and the perfect opportunity to share that love with others, “for it is in giving that we now receive,” as the prayer of St. Francis goes. May February find love in a spiritual director and in offering it to others (even to strangers)…and always seek to deepen his/her love relationship with you, who will surely return his/her love with a love unsurpassed. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Praying for your intentions

Hail Mary,
full of grace,

and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.
