Please pray for me, I am very depressed and anxious, I can’t get myself to smile. I’ve had anxiety-depression in the past and still having bouts of it. About 2 weeks ago I’ve had a panic attack, this was due to a phone call I received. The bad, rainy weather isn’t helping. Right now I can’t get professional help, single mom, very few resources. I feel I need your strongest prayers. Thank you.
 
Gracious and merciful Father, please come to her assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us,
give your aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace,
console the lonely or brokenhearted,
comfort the lost or hopeless,
guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger,
and guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

A book that helped me was “Hope and Help for Your Nerves” by Dr. Clare Weeks. Another good book is The Relaxation Response.

Sorry to hear it’s been so hard. That must be hard enough being depressed without feeling like one can’t receive treatment, either! Gosh! 😦

If you are able to get Medicaid, couldn´t you get treatment at AltaPointe for mental health issues?
 
Praying to St Dymphna for you. Also praying that your guardian angel will intercede for you as well as all the saints in heaven. Mother Mary, pray for us in this depressing time. We offer our sufferings to Christ Jesus.

Praying that the Lord may grant you relief from depression and anxiety. Also praying for all necessary graces for you.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
 
Thank you all. I have prayed last night to the archangels and felt somewhat relieved.

RosaryNJ - I will look up those books.

ClearWater - well, nope, I live far from USA, I’ve tried in the past to get free therapy or something like this, but to no avail. I can go to a psychiatrist to prescribe pills, but it’s not what I’m looking for at the moment.
