Can you pray for me because I am severely depressed. God bless you and thank you.

I have been suffering from sever depression for quite
some time now. It is very hard. I will pray for you.

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,

for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

I got over a long period of depression several months ago. I know how hard it can be. Going to Mass and lots of prayer helped alot. I will be praying for you.
 
Depression is the most cruel of crosses…will be keeping you in prayer with Our Lady and St. Joseph - and St. Dymphna appealled to in causes of mental distress.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust you - let your Peace shine upon her. Amen.

:gopray: Dear loving Lord we left our friend to you lost in the grips of depression. Encourage her Lord, allow her to know that you are with her even if she can’t feel you. Let her know you are there. Grant her the ability to function and live life. Protect her heart and protect her mind from the evil one. Pour out Your blessing on her. Let her know that she is not alone.

I suffer from sever depression as well. Please stay in constant contact with your psychiatrist and your therapist. If you don’t have one please find one don’t deal with this alone. I know in my case God has not chosen to take it away, but I know no matter how bad it gets God is with me through the situation through the depression. Try distracting yourself. I spend a lot time reading and on the boards here pray for folks. I can’t tell you how much praying for other people can help diminish the horrific effects of the depression. Again, I am praying for you. Stay strong, even if that is the farthest from how you feel. God bless
 
My husband and I both suffer from Depression, him more than I. We understand what it is like (as do many others on here, I’m sure). I will pray for your well-being.
